Comparative study of AILET and CLAT

        Full form :   All India Law Entrance Test.

          There is only National Law University – Delhi which accepts its score.

          It is conducted by NLU – Delhi only.

          The success rate is 0.006% only.

The pattern of LLB Program in AILET :

Total Questions asked : 150 MCQs.

Total Sections: 5 sections (English Language, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning).

Exam Duration: 90 minutes

Marking Scheme: + 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer 

The pattern of LLM Program in AILET :

Total Questions asked: 100 MCQs.

CLAT

          Full form : Common Law Admission Test.

          19 National Law Universities accept the CLAT score.

          It is conducted by the 19 NLU’s one by one on rotational basis.

          The success rate is 6%. 

The Pattern of LLB Program in CLAT:

Total Questions asked : 200 MCQs

Total Sections: 5 sections (English Language, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning).

Exam Duration: 3 hours

Marking Scheme: + 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer.

The Pattern of LLM Program in CLAT:

Total Questions: 150 Questions

Total Sections: 3 sections Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence and other topics (Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR etc.).

Exam Duration: 2 hours

Marking Scheme: + 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer
